CENDARI Summer School 2015

The Collaborative European Digital Archive Infrastructure (CENDARI) project held its third summer school from the 20th to the 25th of July in the Old Town venue of the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic. This year’s five-day intensive programme focused on the theme of “Researching Medieval Culture in a Digital Environment” and sought to promote the use of digital research methods amongst scholars engaged in medieval studies. The summer school introduced and demonstrated how research in medieval studies could be enhanced through using tools such as TPEN, Tradamus, Abbreviationes, Classical Text Editor, Manuscriptorium as well as the CENDARI Virtual Research Environment.
